Rashid Corneh Sr .Rph. MBA

Board President and Executive Director of FIPOL

A Pharmacist and PhD Candidate at Walden University with specialty in Health Services administration and community Health. Mr. Corneh also holds MBA/Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix, Philadelphia.

Mr. Corneh has 24 years of health service experience including the position of Assistance Instructor at the School of Pharmacy and Deputy Operations Manager at National Drug Services, in Liberia. He worked as an Assistant training instructor at ELWYN Industries, supervising and training disadvantage population with basic life skills, production and social services in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Currently working as a Clinical Support Staff at OMNI Health Services in Philadelphia, and a Volunteer at Infection Control Department, Mercy Philadelphia Hospital.

Mr. Corneh is presently working on a book title Managing Health Care in Developing Countries

Lawrence Yangalay

Board Director on Finance and Sustainability

Lawrence has over two decades of experience in community and non-profit organizations both in Africa and the United States with experiences in financial management, project management, audit and grant administration.

In Liberia, Lawrence served as Finance Officer of the National Drug Service (an organization that provides pharmaceutical supplies to public health facilities) with responsibility for the organization\u2019s fiscal management which included administration of grants from UN organizations, the EU and other partners; and of funds from sales to facilities. He provided financial analysis to the Committee that developed the Essential Drug List and served on the national Committee that formulated the Liberia\u2019s Drug Cost Recovery policy.

In the United States, Lawrence worked as an accountant, an auditor and a budget officer with the City of Philadelphia. He currently works in financial and rate analysis with the Philadelphia Water Department.

Lawrence obtained his undergraduate degree in business administration and graduate degrees in accounting and public administration.

Fatu Waritay-Kear. RPh.

Board Director on Treasury.

A Pharmacist with extensive patient centered approach supported by her nursing skills and consistency in developing and implementing of individualized service plans.

She also served as Pharmacist at the National Drug Service of Liberia, SDA Cooper Medical Hospital as well as managing several retail Pharmacy outlets.

The focus of her career remained in improving the health of the disadvantaged.

Joseph Kaiwood. RPh. MPH.

Administrative Director and Board Secretary.

Public Health Pharmacist with emphasis in Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmaceutical product safety. Expertise include Supply Chain Management and Rational Drug Use, Pharmaceutical compounding and quality assurance.

Served as Pharmacist at John F. Kennedy Medical Center, Redemption Hospital and the Christian Health Association of Liberia. Did provide management and coverage for several retail outlets. The recent position in Liberia included Supply Chain Mentor, Instruction in health Policy, and reorganizing of a revolving Drug Fund.

Represented private sector non-profit pharmaceutical service providers in drafting the National Drug policy of 2000. Member, Pharmacy Board of Liberia 2000/2001.

Rev. Tijli Tarty Tyee, Sr. Rph, Msc FPCPharm

Member, Board of Directors.

Pharmaceutical regulatory expert and a careered science teacher covering biological and pharmaceutical sciences,35 years of teaching science and 17 years in regulatory affairs.

Areas of expertise include, Rational use of medicine, Good manufacturing practices, Medicines regulatory affairs, Pharmaceutical sector planning,

A fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacist,

Member of the National Research Ethics Board (NREB),

Consultant, Partnership for Research on Ebola Virus in Liberia (PREVAIL), President and Vice President, West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP),

Focal Person on Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance System (GLASS), lecturer, School of Pharmacy University of Liberia, Previous positions include Chief Pharmacist of Liberia, and Director of Pharmacy, John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital.

Rev. Tyee has co-authored several pharmaceutical policy documents and made presentations at scientific gatherings.

Mr. Beedoe comes to FIPOL with great experience in pharmaceutical production, analysis and dispensing skills. His expertise in the US pharmaceutical service delivery sector added to product research and development has strengthen his collaboration in product monitoring and patient safety.
